It is no surprise that people will associate certain stereotypes with towing companies or tow truck drivers. The way that Hollywood displays a towing service is often someone that is unhappy with their work and has little concern for those that require their assistance. In reality, these predispositions could not be further from the truth. Although there are bad apples in every industry, you would be surprised how friendly most towing companies are. Here are some common ideas that are falsely conceived about the industry of towing. 

Tow Truck Drives are Rude
As mentioned above, there are always going to be individuals who do not have a great attitude when they are assisting customers. However, this is not a fact with NOZ Towing because we vet our operators through on the job training and apprenticeships. If an applicant does not have the proper attitude for the job, they will not move forward in the hiring process. The same can be said for other towing services in our area. For a majority of these other service providers, they have excellent crews that genuinely care about those who call in for a tow or roadside assistance. Speaking of roadside assistance, that leads us to our next false assumption about towing. 

Towing Companies Only Execute Tows
False. While towing is 90% of what we do on a daily basis, we also offer a myriad of services that can aid someone who has ran out of gas, popped a tire, or has a dead battery. These are just a few auxiliary services that most towing businesses provide every single day. Roadside assistance is always going to be a high demand service because vehicles, by nature, are breaking down constantly. 

Towing is too Expensive
People might concur that hiring a towing service is far more overpriced than they previously thought. The beauty of living in Arizona is that we have a wide range of people who have opened their own towing company, which drives prices down through competition. This directly benefits the customer because they get the absolute lowest price when they call multiple companies for a quote. Often times, there are no other choices afforded to the customer if they are stuck on the side of the highway.
